Alexa Kropf: Hit by an Illegal Dirt Bike at 100mph
While attending college at the University of Albany, Alexa Kropf was hit by an individual traveling at 100mph on a illegal dirt bike as she was crossing the street in the intersection. It happened so fast that after she came to from her 3 week coma she had no recollection of the incident. After months in the hospital and multiple surgeries the bruises started to fade as her test results yielded a long steady recovery.
At the moment of the incident many important aspects of Alexa’s life were stripped away in the blink of an eye. Every personal item was seized by officers and admitted into evidence for future court cases once the rider was found, for he had fled the scene.
Alexa’s Apple watch, Air-Force One sneakers, and multiple earrings removed from both ears in preparation for head trauma treatment are among those items confiscated.
As we followed her recovery efforts we felt in our hearts to replace these sentimental items and that is exactly what we did. It was a beautiful heartfelt experience to be able to listen to Alexa’s story and be their for her. We are blessed to become a piece of your story and life.
